The holiday course allows children to discover a wide variety of artistic techniques. They will learn about the lives of five major artists through readings and then create their own artwork inspired by the work of these great artists.

Monday 20 October - Joan Miro
10.30am-12pm: imaginary constellations - drawing with Posca pens
12pm-1pm: lunch followed by playtime
1pm-2.45pm: drawing from memory of the object
3:00-4:30 p.m.: recycled sculpture inspired by ‘La caresse d'un oiseau’ (The Caress of a Bird)
Tuesday, 21 October - Henri Matisse
10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.: composition using cut-out wallpaper
12:00-1:00 p.m.: lunch followed by playtime
1pm to 2.45pm: creation of patterns using lino stamps
3pm to 4.30pm: room with a view - landscape in acrylic paint
