Countertenor Philippe Jaroussky and Christina Pluhar, both regulars at the Opéra Royal, are back together again for an original programme, as they like to concoct them together.
In Passacalle de la Follie, they invite us to discover the air de cour, these refined melodies, forgotten gems of early seventeenth-century French music (Antoine Boesset, Etienne Moulinié, Michel Lambert, and many others) where their complicity is marvellous. Christina Pluhar, whose creativity is well known, illuminates the rich instrumental ensemble of the Arpeggiata with shimmering colours.
