Les Voyages fantastiques - Circus & tricks

7 actors, 28 sets and 1001 tricks to tell the story of three of the most beautiful journeys imagined by Jules Verne (1828-1905) through the eyes of Georges Méliès (1861-1938). Journey to the moon inspired by From the Earth to the Moon, journey under the earth inspired by Journey to the Centre of the Earth, journey under the sea inspired by Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea and journey through time to find yourself on the set of an early 20th century film studio.

Inventions, tricks, magic, illusions, shadows and puppets are used by the actors, who adopt the expressionist codes of the cinema to interpret these stories to the music of Satie, Debussy, Stravinsky, Saint-Saëns and Tchaikovsky.
