Choreographer Olivier Dubois creates a fascinating solo for prima ballerina Marie-Agnès Gillot.

‘To become a legend is to be robbed of your tomorrow, your farewell, your disappearance. It means being robbed of your destiny. It means becoming your own museum. A gallery of a permanent collection of your life's work.

An agitator on the French contemporary scene, Olivier Dubois creates total choreographic works in which the power of movement, audacity and commitment are the hallmarks. A fan of proposals that call on a large number of performers to reflect humanity in all its truth (remember Tragedy!), Olivier Dubois also likes to build the backdrop for a solo that consecrates a performer.

In For Gods Only, he makes a veritable declaration of love to the dancer Marie-Agnès Gillot. To the music of Stravinsky, the Paris Opera star dances her Rite of Spring. The dance of a sacred monster who is venerated and who tells the story of our times.
