To mark European Museum Night, the Lambinet Museum is hosting a late-night opening, giving you the chance to explore its collections and its temporary exhibition, ‘Si Saint-Louis m'était conté’, from 7 pm until midnight.
A creative workshop: ‘Mosaic of the St Louis District’: Guided by a museum guide, visitors create posters of the monuments in the St Louis district inspired by the works in the exhibition. This workshop is aimed at accompanied children and adults. (Running continuously throughout the evening. Time required: from 5 minutes to as long as you like!)
Flash tours throughout the museum: A museum guide will welcome you in the galleries to discuss the works in the museum’s permanent collection and the themes of the exhibition. (Running continuously. Spontaneous commentary by the guide. Talks lasting approximately 10 minutes.)
Performance on the Naderman harp: Nanja Breedijk, soloist and lecturer at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement régional de Versailles Grand Parc, will fill the Salon Doré with the sound of the Naderman harp. This will be an opportunity to chat with her about historical harps and the repertoire of the Classical period. (Continuous performance. Limited space in the room.)
Spot the 7 Differences game featuring the museum’s collections: Have fun on your own or with others as you try to spot the odd ones out hidden within the reproductions of the museum’s artworks. (Suitable for children from nursery age. Game available at reception; to be played independently in the museum galleries.)
