A surprising pictorial result focusing on the architecture of cities and the people who inhabit them.
Arnaud Liard, born in 1975, is a multi-talented artist who emerged from the Parisian graffiti scene, combining several artistic techniques (acrylic, airbrush, spray paint, oil paint) to achieve surprising results. After obtaining a degree in lettering, he devoted himself to creating murals in the late 1980s.
His paintings are inspired by the places where he paints: destructured architectural landscapes, repeatedly patched asphalt sidewalks, and the textures of old, wrinkled city walls. The architecture of cities and the people who inhabit them are recurring themes in his work.
