During European Heritage Days, discover the art of engraving with the artist Matthieu Perramant in a workshop for children aged 6 to 10. Each child will go home with their own engraved plate and print.

Engraving encompasses all techniques that involve incising or carving to produce an image, text, etc., in a material (wood, iron, etc.).
It is an art form and a technique that involves hollowing out, incising or carving a surface (metal, wood, stone, glass or plastic) to create a design, text or image. It is used both to create works of art, to mark objects and to produce a printing plate.
