Japanese artist Ryota Oishi (Chevalier de l'Ordre des Arts et des Lettres), born in Osaka in 1943, will present an exceptional retrospective at Le Carré à la Farine, retracing forty years of painting devoted to the evolution of the royal city, immortalizing places that have now disappeared or been profoundly transformed. His rich and varied work combines oil paintings and watercolors, revealing the picturesque character of Versailles and paying tribute to its beauty and history.
