Come and explore the world of the famous author of The Three Musketeers, Alexandre Dumas, with a visit to the Château de Monte-Christo and its gardens – a jewel in its crown.

After the success of The Three Musketeers and The Count of Monte Cristo, Alexandre Dumas bought land at Port-Marly to build a Renaissance-style château. This architectural gem nestles in the lush green setting of its gardens with their grottoes, rockeries and pools.

A stroll in this magnificent park and a visit to the château will introduce you to the writer's world via a collection of etchings, paintings and reproductions. Gourmet visitors will appreciate Dumas's predilection for fine food.
